Day 34: Clarity

Day 34 S-366-LYDoG:

Wow, I’m cuttin’ it close again. Another whirlwind day is coming to a close and I think what I’m most grateful for today is clarity. I don’t come by it often, however, today I felt it keenly as I struggled to manage my week.

In the simplest terms clarity came as I reached out to my Father in Heaven in prayer and asked him to help me find peace amongst the turmoil of the day. I won’t lie, it was a tough day and I’m beginning to feel the stress and strain of my schedule. Between school, dr appointments, things for the kiddos, etc … I felt buried under the weight of responsibility.

When I prayed the peace came immediately and the thought occurred to me that if I can remain focused on my eternal goal, salvation, and not focus so much on the here and now, then I will know what is important and what can wait.

I am so grateful for my knowledge of a loving God who helps me remember who I am and where I’m going on days like these.
